Hard floor surfaces such as vinyl, terrazzo and terracotta require regular maintenance in order to keep their appearance. Mopping alone will not remove ground in dirt and scuff marks that result with constant traffic. When hard floors start to look worn and scuffed it is a good indication that machine burnishing or buffing is required. Regular buffing of sealed floors will help keep your floor looking clean and shiny and will also extend the life of the sealer.
Industrial floor burnishers/buffing machines are used with commercial grade buffing pads to provide a clean, shiny, non-slip finish.
Hard Floor Maintenance / Floor Stripping and Sealing
When buffing your hard floor no longer results in an acceptable appearance, it usually means that floor stripping and sealing is required. This process involves stripping away the existing worn out sealer, mechanically cleaning the floor surface underneath and then re-applying a sealer and hardener…leaving floors looking like new again.

The life of your floor is thereby extended by reducing the possibility for marking and soil penetration. Surfaces are left with a superior “wet look” gloss finish that is non-slip.
