Over the years, we have, with the assistance of our many clients donated to 100’s of deserving charities and clubs within our community. The Starlight Foundation, Make a Wish Foundation, Mental Illness Foundation, Fred Hollows Foundation, Childrens Cancer Institute, Australian Red Cross and Royal Womens Hospital are just a few of the many organisations that have benefited from our program.
Since becoming aware of the many ways in which we as a company can help reduce not only our, environmental impact but that of our clients as well, we felt that our community benefits program would be best served by directing all donations to one deserving organisation that was also serious about current environmental issues – Landcare Australia.
As at 2008, all contributions made by greenkleen to Landcare Australia will go towards the management of Landcare projects in Victoria. This includes the Habitat 141 project in Western Victoria, linking significant vegetation along the 141 longnitude and contributing to the Buloke revegetation which provides habitat and an important food source for the critically threatened Red Tailed Black Cockatoo.
